Art Advisory Services

Coram James Ltd offers a range of art advisory services for those wishing either to build up a collection or acquire individual items. Based on our extensive experience of the art market and through the valuation of fine art and antiques on a daily basis, we are in a unique position to advise clients on the purchase and sale of art and antiques.

After an initial consultation we establish your requirements and draw up a shortlist of suggestions, based on our network of artists and knowledge of the art market. There is no commitment to purchase and as an independent firm, our suggestions are unbiased and impartial.

Our Art Advisory team have a broad range of experience and expertise and can help you to buy and sell across a wide range of categories from jewellery and furniture to contemporary art.

FEES

Our prices are very competitive, consisting of an initial consultation fee followed by a small percentage of any purchase made (based on a sliding scale).

We are also happy to sell on your behalf, either through public auction or private treaty.

Commission for Selling

• 10% plus VAT for individual items selling above £1,000
• 15% plus VAT for items selling below £1,000
